The Right Rhizobium
Although many strains of Rhizobium may be present in the soil, not all are equally beneficial. Nitro-Coat® uses rhizobium strains specifically selected for each seed type. For alfalfa, Nitro-Coat® also offers an exclusive blend of four Rhizobium strains, developed from over 30 years of research.

The protective coating prevents premature germination during brief moisture events in which there is not enough moisture for the seed to establish after germination.
